In the pursuit of sustainable practices and environmental preservation, the NGO "Somos Natureza" has developed projects such as the implementation of a Sustainable Garden and the Reforestation of Native Species at Paraíso Azul Retiro.
These initiatives not only promote self-sufficiency in food but also contribute to the restoration and preservation of local biodiversity.
OPEN FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY
The garden, implemented and maintained by NGO volunteers, occupies a special space at Paraíso Azul Retiro. The volunteers, dedicating time and effort, plant and cultivate a variety of vegetables and herbs using sustainable agricultural practices. The garden's production is used not only to meet the dietary needs of volunteers but also enriches the inn's cuisine, providing fresh, organic, and nutritious meals for guests.
A notable aspect of this project is the opening of the garden to the local community. This creates a valuable connection between the NGO and the neighboring population, allowing the sharing of knowledge about sustainable agricultural practices and access to fresh and healthy food.
GRADUAL REFORESTATION OF THE REGION
Simultaneously, the NGO "Somos Natureza" invests in the gradual reforestation of the region, taking a proactive approach to preserving the diversity of native species. Carefully selected seeds are planted, contributing to the restoration of local ecosystems and the creation of ecological corridors.
Reforestation aims not only to mitigate environmental impacts but also to promote the conservation of natural habitats, essential for local fauna and flora.
Volunteers involved in this project play a fundamental role as advocates for ecological balance.

SOWING AWARENESS AND RESPECT FOR NATURE, JOIN US!
The positive impacts of these initiatives are already beginning to be felt, with a more conscious and engaged community, as well as tangible evidence of ecological recovery. However, challenges such as the ongoing need for resources and the constant commitment of the community and volunteers cannot be ignored.
The Sustainable Garden and Reforestation of Native Species project is a concrete manifestation of the commitment of the NGO "Somos Natureza" to sustainability and environmental care.
These actions not only promote ecological practices but also strengthen community ties, inspiring a greener and more sustainable future for all.
